Cylindrical Roller Bearings

MEGA cylindrical roller bearings are available in several design variants and dimensional series in single row, double row, and four-row configurations.

A radial cylindrical roller bearing comprises of inner ring(s), outer ring(s), and roller-cage assembly or a full roller complement without a cage.

MEGA cylindrical roller bearings are available in single row, double row, and four-row configurations in the following design variants:

• Bearings with snap ring grove

Single row cylindrical roller bearings feature single set of raceways and rollers. It has two integral roller-guiding flanges on either the inner ring or the outer ring. Therefore, these bearings are axially free floating and separable. The opposing ring may have one integral roller-guiding flange to support axial loads.

In MEGA cylindrical roller bearings, the roller-guiding face of the flanges are inclined at an angle to reduce friction between the flanges and the rollers. The rollers feature a crowned profile to prevent high stresses at the edges of the rollers which helps in extending the bearing life.

Double row cylindrical roller bearings feature two sets of raceways and rollers, and therefore have higher load carrying capacities and higher stiffness.
